This half term our topic will be Extreme Earth. We will be studying how volcanoes and earthquakes are formed and the devastaion they cause.

We will be studying a book called Escape to Pompeii. 

We will also be writing our own inforamtion leaflets and explanantion texts on Volcanoes and Earthquakes.

In Science our topic is  Light. the children will learn how the eye sees and how light travels. They will also learn about refraction and reflection and how shadows are formed.
