In English we will studying the book The Street Child.

     

We will look at the conditions suffered by poor Victorian children and write diaries, character descriptions, recounts, settings and our final piece of writing will be an adventure story set on the streets of London as a Street child in Victorian times.

 

In History we will be studying the Victorians looking at the queen herself, the workhouse, poor and rich people, the British Empire, inventions and schools including education acts.

 

In Science we will be studying electricity - making circuits and understanding how each pat of the circuits works and the symbols.
