Summer 1
‘Our United Kingdom’ is our theme for this half term. We will look at key landmarks across the UK and look at human and physical aspects of geography. We will also look at UK weather and the impact it has on a range factors. In science, we will be looking at growing plants and investigate what affects growth; making close observations over the coming weeks. In English, we will begin with poems on a theme and link to nature and the environment and then move on to persuasive writing. As mathematicians, we will look at fractions, time and shape this half term and as artists, will look at creating art using recycled materials. Mrs Chandler will continue to teach us recorder in our music lessons.
