Jack and Jill School Zambia
The Jack and Jill School is located in Choma, in Zambia, in Africa.
It is very different to our school as it doesn’t have all of the space and resources like books and computers that we have. The children come from very disadvantaged backgrounds; many not living with their families.
The Jack and Jill supporters work hard in fundraising to improve the schooling and lives of the children at the school. They have helped to source books, clothing, create classrooms and provide fresh water supply.
We at St Peter and Paul’s have sponsored 2 children at the school for a number of years. The first, Rodwell, who has now grown up and is doing very well and we now sponsor Jeremiah by sending money each year. We have also sent books and uniform to help support not only Rodwell and Jeremiah but other children who attend the school.

An update from Phil and Maria about Jack and Jill School

We enjoyed seeing Phil and Maria back in school for an update on all the wonderful things that have been happening at the Jack and Jill School. They told us about their exciting project of raising money for a water borehole so that the children can have clean water. We are looking forward to helping out with this!
Welcoming supporters of the Jack and Jill School

It has been wonderful to welcome Frank and Phil to our school on a number of occasions to give us information and update us on the progress of the Jack and Jill School.
We even got to see Phil do some African dancing!
We are currently getting together further resources to send over to the school to help teachers with the lessons they deliver to the children.
