Here is an example of reading in EYFS 1:1 with an adult. It demonstrates how children develop more confidence in blending to read words in a longer text.
Key Stage 1 reading: dealing with more challenging texts and reading with greater fluency
Here is an example of reading 1:1 with an adult where greater fluency skills are demonstrated and confidence is shown when accessing a text. There is a re-visit of the focus sound to help as this will appear often in the text.
