Reading Information

📚 Welcome to Our New Book 📚 Swap Shed!

We’re excited to introduce our brand-new Book Swap Shed — a special place where everyone can share the joy of reading!

Here’s how it works:

  1.   Bring a book you’ve already read and are happy to share.
  2. Choose a new book from the shed to take home and enjoy.
  3. Read, swap, and repeat!

The Book Swap Shed is open to all

Book Swap

Our beautiful new 'Book Swap' shed is located as you walk in along the main path around school and will provide fun and engaging opportunities for children to have constant access to a range of books.

Children can use the 'Book Swap' with their parent/carer to monitor the text chosen, look at the selection of books we have on offer and swap it with a book that they have read from home.

The Book Swap Shed is open to all children and families. It’s a fun, free way to discover new stories, share old favourites, and keep our love of reading growing. Let’s fill our shed with imagination, adventure, and stories to share!

With this read, swap and repeat system, we can ensure that children enjoy good quality books throughout the school year, so we ask that books are free from damage, wherever possible: books in good condition make everyone’s reading experience better — please treat them with care and kindness.

We are sure it will be highly successful and enjoyable for the children and thank you for your support in fostering a love for reading.
