Rooted and Grounded in Love

Welcome

Being ‘Rooted and Grounded in Love’ (Ephesians 3:17) we strive to follow the Lord’s command to love God above all things and each other as brothers and sisters, making God’s Kingdom a reality in our school and throughout our community.

Welcome!

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our school website and I hope that you enjoy browsing and getting a feel for our fabulous school. We hope that it encourages you to come and visit us and we are sure that, from the moment you step through our door, you will immediately feel a warm welcome and a sense of our school ethos of being ‘rooted and grounded in love.'

At St Peter and St Paul’s, we strive to provide the best quality education in a caring, family environment that is firmly based on our Christian Values. We recognise that all children develop at different rates and with different talents. Each member of staff is committed to helping every single child achieve their full potential including their academic, musical, artistic and sporting achievements.

School has been through several Ofsted inspections, including our most recent one in March 2023 when, once again, we were graded as being ‘Good’. We teach a 'Creative Curriculum' which means that the requirements of the national curriculum are taught through a variety of interesting themes and we are extremely proud to offer a vibrant learning environment.

Our SIAMs inspection 2019 rated us as an ‘Excellent’ Church School and we strive to be rooted and grounded in love by loving God and loving each other. By the time your child leaves us, we hope that we have been able to support you, as parents, in helping them to develop as an individual and good citizen, somebody we would all be happy to live next door to.

We believe that school should be enjoyable, fun and the best days of a child’s life and we hope that we are able to share seven happy and successful years of school life with you.  If you would like to come and have a look around school please ring our school Bursar, Mrs Emily Gorrill, or call in if you are passing.

Kind regards,

Mrs Sara Clarkson (Headteacher)
