We Love Our Planet!
Eco Club Warriors have been busy exploring our school recycling areas. We felt that we needed to encourage everybody to recycle... especially plastic! We carried out research into how bad the plastic problem is in the world and felt we need to try our very best at St Peter and St Paul's to recycle ALL of our plastic... first stop the staffroom with the new bins we have provided.
Plastic Progress
Eco club have got together again to have a 'field trip' around school to find out how well recycling plastic is going. We went to the schools recycling centre with our site manager. We interviewed Mrs Baker who thinks we have improved our plastic recycling... in fact the blue bins were really full! One thing we did notice is we recycled lots and lots of paper. We asked our school if they think we are using too much paper? We came up with ways in which less paper could be used in school and we are going to be checking up on this over the next few weeks.
